Deck, Patio and Outdoor Living Services
Hans Construction builds fourteen kinds of outdoor space, all of them on the outside of the house and none of them inside it. Most projects combine two or three: a deck with a covered section, a paver patio with a fire pit, a kitchen under a pavilion. Start from what you want to do outside and the right combination follows.

Start with how you want to use the yard
"We want somewhere to eat outside."
— a composite deck or paver patio, sized for a table and the path around it.
"We want to use it when it rains."
— a covered patio or pavilion.
"We want shade, not a roof."
— a pergola.
"We cook outside a lot."
— an outdoor kitchen.
"The yard drops away from the house."
"The old deck is soft."
— repair or inspection first, then replacement if the framing is gone.
"We want evenings outside in October."
— a fire feature and a covered area.

What we do not build
Roofing on the house, siding, windows, fences, interior remodels and ADUs. If your project needs one of those, we will tell you so and recommend you hire a licensed contractor for that trade.
Not sure what the yard needs? A design visit costs nothing.
